I think to humans technology doesn’t exist until you can physically touch and experience it. Nobody can know what an EV feels like unless he has experienced an Electric vehicle at some point. People don’t invest in technologies that they cannot yet gasp the impact it would have on their reality. Things only impact your reality when you truly, physically see it. The iPhone became the iPhone because it was a high density of technologies that many people had worked on. And these technologies only became real to the public when they experienced the iPhone hosting those engineering marvels… The issue is never whether the tech is here or not, it’s simply whether people are working to bring you, the public, the experience and the reality that this technology offers.
